Night of the Living Dead Event Breakdown

Darkness approaches. In the fading twilight you hear something, no, somethings, shambling just beyond the treeline. Branches creak and leaves part as a pack of Bloodbinder Thralls staggers through the brush. You could probably handle them you think, but then four Thralls become eight, become 20, become an army. Flight’s looking a little better than fight now, but you don’t have a choice:

The Night of the Living Dead is nigh!

Welcome to our newest event, Night of the Living Dead, which pits you and your favorite decks against an army of Sabine’s Thralls. She’s looking to overthrow the balance of power on the continents, and it’s up to you to stop her.

Night of the Living Dead runs from 8/22 at 11 AM PT until Tuesday, 8/27 at 11 AM PT, and you’ll have that long to complete a trio of quests focused on taking out Thralls and keeping healthy while doing it.

One quick note, you can only complete these quests while playing Night of the Living Dead. Killing Thralls in Ranked or against standard bots won’t get you any closer to rewards.

While you’re fending off the Thrall hordes, you’ll also be able to earn Shards from a second event we’re calling Temporal Troubles: Timebound Tasks. 

You can complete any of these quests outside of Night of the Living Dead. Heck, just collecting your daily free card three times is enough to score the first quest's reward.

There are enough rewards up for grabs across Night of the Living Dead and Temporal Troubles to seriously beef up your collection, so get out there and start stomping those Thralls!
